2019 - 2022
I am a women raised by three other women. Since my first day on earth, I’ve lived with my Mom, my Aunt and my Grandma. From my grandma we inherited the habit of never missing flowers at home - she’s always said: a house without flowers is a home without life. It’s an imaterial heirloom we keep cultivating. This series is my first long term project and it’s an on going process where, since 2019, I am documenting my house, my matriarchal origin, the women who live with me and the flowers. I look, trough photography and video, to the everyday life searching for the bond that connects us. I portrait them, but I know I am also looking for myself. I wonder: where my mother’s begin? where she ends? where my grandma and my aunt begin?
