Anna Ortega (Porto Alegre, 2000) is a visual artist, photographer based in Porto Alegre, Brasil.
Interested in the dialogue of the different art expressions - photography, text, video - she pursues in the image the possibility of the encounter, of the affect. Her work looks into daily life, the “little” of the world, the home and the memory. In 2020, her long term project “There Is No Home Without Flowers” has been awarded in Prêmio Diário Contemporâneo, one of the most relevants prizes for contemporary photography in Brasil.
